Abstract
Have you implemented Lean in your organization and continue to produce defects?
Have you implemented Six-Sigma or other quality improvements but are not
satisfied with the slow throughput, long cycle times and excess inventories?
Attend this Professional Development Meeting and learn how to combine the speed
of Lean with the quality of Six-Sigma.
Why choose one improvement initiative when you can create win-win by combining
two! Many organizations resist the temptation to introduce more than one
improvement strategy based on competing funding and resource allocations that
have kept the initiatives divided. Keith’s presentation will show you how to
implement the dramatic productivity improvements of the lean enterprise while
gaining extraordinary improvements in product quality and reduction in product
and service variation.
Surrounding these two approaches to improving customer satisfaction and
profitability is a lot of confusion, which this presentation will clarify by
focusing on:
-
Understanding
the two approaches of Lean and Six-Sigma
-
Defining
the compatibility of the approaches
-
Learning
how Lean techniques can help you identify Six-Sigma opportunities and how to
use Six-Sigma to eliminate waste
-
How
to define the rules that determine which tools to use
-
Finding
the best practice model and roadmap for Lean and Six-Sigma deployment for your
organization
-
What’s
next - beyond Lean Six-Sigma?
Specific client examples will be provided that will share the approach and
results of several local companies in their Lean Six-Sigma journey including
critical keys for success and areas to avoid to ensure rapid effective
implementation.
