ISO 9001:2000 promotes the adoption of the Process Approach to management
systems. This is a radical departure from the ‘Say What You Do, Do What You Say’
model of previous editions of ISO 9001.
ISO 9001:2000 focuses on setting business objectives that apply to customers
(external, regulatory, internal), employees, suppliers and wider society.
Subsequent processes to achieve these objectives are required followed by a
closed loop improvement cycle of plan, do check and act (the essence of ISO
9001:2000).
This workshop will be an interactive session , theoretical at first followed by
practical sessions focusing on examples of
Objective setting
using the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timed)
approach.
