Speaker
Biography:
Keith Boyle, P.E., is an internationally recognized
performance professional and principal consultant with Quality & Productivity Resources – a consulting company assisting organizations achieve performance
excellence. He has spent over twenty-five years working with manufacturing and
high-tech organizations in North America, Asia and Europe - dramatically
improving their quality and productivity. Prior to founding QPR he spent over
ten years as Manager, Total Quality Assurance for Solar Turbines and provided
leadership to their winning application in the 1998 Malcolm Baldrige National
Quality Award.
Mr. Boyle’s international experience encompasses Operations, Quality, Process
and Project Management and specializes in lean product development, lean
manufacturing, process management, six-sigma/quality improvement, QFD, FMEA and
strategic business excellence. He is a Senior Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige
National Quality Award.
He is the Chairman, Academic Advisor and Principal Instructor/Facilitator for
the UCSD Six-Sigma Institute and the UCSD Institute for the Lean Enterprise.
Keith has been an instructor with UCSD since 1997 for both on-campus and
in-house contract workshops and has provided instruction on QFD, Six-Sigma and
Lean in the US and on international assignments. He was honored with the
prestigious Outstanding Instructor Award for Engineering and Science from UCSD
in 2000.
