This three hour workshop is designed to expose participants to an overview of LEAN and Theory of Constraints (TOC) methodologies and to review the recommended approach to implementation in organizations. Participants will learn how these tools and techniques can be used for process analysis and continuous improvement. Real world applications will be reviewed and discussed to enhance the experience of the participant.

Jane Marshall, CPIM, Jonah is an operations professional with 20 years of experience encompassing purchasing, materials management, manufacturing planning and control, distribution, project management, accounting, sales and marketing. She has experience in the electronics, medical device, wholesale food, textile, industrial steel, and education industries.
Currently, she assists organizations in improving their business performances through identifying and establishing customer driven processes, reducing non-value added functions, and increasing productivity. Areas of expertise are Vendor Partnering, Supply Chain Management, ERP Systems, Production Activity Management, Distribution Management, LEAN Manufacturing Techniques, and Constraints Management.
Jane is a frequent speaker and seminar leader on topics of LEAN, TOC, and Supply Chain Strategies. She currently teaches classes in LEAN and Supply Chain Management for UCSD and Operations Strategies for SDSU. She has taught operations and strategy topics for APICS including Supply Chain, Master Planning, Inventory Management, MRP, Production Activity, JIT and Systems and Technologies.
Her formal education includes an MBA from Cal State San Marcos, a business degree from UOP, CPIM certification with APICS, and Jonah certification through the Goldratt Institute on Constraints Management.
