Program Abstract
The Hoshin Kanri Overview workshop will introduce
participants to the basic
concepts and philosophy of Hoshin Kanri.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will understand the history of Hoshin and how it is used today. They will understand how Hoshin is an integral part of TQM and how it provides focus for other quality systems like Six Sigma and Lean.
Participants will understand that Hoshin is a form
driven process,
and they will be able to list the forms that comprise a complete Hoshin
plan. Most importantly,
participants will understand that Hoshin is much
more than forms - it provides the foundation for effective business
management.
About the Speaker(S)
Pete Babich is the President of Total Quality Engineering
Inc. TQE
specializes in providing training, software, and consulting to assure
organizations effectively implement the principles Hoshin Kanri. Pete has
an MSEE degree and is an ASQ Certified Manager and Engineer.
Pete is also the author of the following book:
