Abstract:

 

The course will cover:

  1. Introduction to Basic Statistical Concepts (Mean, Standard Deviation, etc.)

  2. Overview of Normal Distribution Characteristics

  3. Overview of Statistical Process Control (different types of control charts)

  4. Overview of Capability Studies (Cp, Cpk)
     

About Our Speaker:

 

Faisal Taquie is Quality Specialist at the Research and Development Centre of Nokia Mobile Phones in San Diego, CA.  He has over five years experience using quality management principles, Six Sigma and statistical applications, reliability predictions, and ISO 9000 implementation.

 

Mr. Taquie has a MS in Industrial Engineering and a BS in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Oklahoma, Norman.

 

Mr. Taquie is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer, and Quality Auditor, from ASQ.
