Who delivers the course and
how do I know I will be satisfied ?
The course material has been
designed and prepared by practicing EAGLE registered lead auditors who have
many years of experience in writing, improving and auditing quality system
documentation. These auditors are also available during the Program to
answer general questions of an interpretative nature to ensure that there
are no surprises when the actual audit is conducted .
June 6 Tutor is Ray Klotz ,
IRCA QS-LA. An ASQ Medallist and Fellow, Ray brings over 30 years quality
management experience to this program to ensure maximum value.
Where will the sessions be
held ?
The first session scheduled
to commence on Thursday
June 6 2002 (and each
Thursday thereafter for 6 weeks, excl. July 4 ) will be located at REMEC
Corp facilities at 9404 Chesapeake Drive, San Diego CA 92123 (convenient to
Hwy 163, I-805 and I-15)
Do I need to involve my
registrar in this process ?
You will only need to involve
your registrar when you decide to schedule the actual surveillance audit
stage. Most registrars plan to conduct the upgrade assessment during a
routine surveillance. However, you may wish to check with your registrar to
confirm this. (Registrar is the final authority that grants certification)
How does the Program work
?
A
small number of companies (approx 10 per class) will send a nominated
representative, who is fully conversant with the existing documented quality
system, to 6 weekly sessions (1 day/week) in a classroom environment.
Each
week will focus on a different key element of structure of the new
requirement. As each week elapses, the company documentation is
revised, realigned and reorganized in line with ISO9001:2000.
A
set volume of work is completed each session, ensuring a timely preparation
for a full pre-assessment conducted by an EAGLE registered lead auditor.
After
successful completion of the 6-week program and the pre-assessment,
the registered company is ready to schedule the actual surveillance audit
with their registrar.
What does the AISO Program
cost ?
An
investment of $2,000.00 per company (maximum 2 participants) covers the
tuition for the six weekly sessions and the full 1 day pre-assessment.
Further pre-assessment days are available as required for an extra fee. All
meals and materials associated with the program are included.
