Six-Sigma Institute

A Black-Belt Professional Certificate Program

What is Six-Sigma?

Six-Sigma is a series of tools, techniques, and business metrics that represent the best in quality and process improvement -- the minimization of variation and defects from products, processes and services to almost zero. Organizations that have achieved Six-Sigma have improved their processes so that they consistently produce no more than 3.4 defects per million opportunities. However, this is more than reducing defects - this is about dramatically improving the bottom line.

Institute objectives

  • To present the essential principles of the Six-Sigma improvement methodology to working professionals.

  • To provide participants with the tools and techniques to implement Six-Sigma within their own organizations.

  • To facilitate collaboration and communication among practicing Six-Sigma organizations and professionals across a broad range of industries.

Who should attend the institute?

This Black-Belt certification program is appropriate for any team or individual responsible for managing or participating significantly in manufacturing, design or business process activities.
