Chair Elect Open |
Selected among the elected section officers in case of emergency loss of
elected Chair position. The Vice Chair position was created /
appointed due to a vacancy in the office of Chair-Elect. The term
limit for the Section Chair and Treasurer is two consecutive years. There
is no term limit for the Secretary and Vice Chair position. In case
of a vacancy in the office of Section Chair, the Chair-Elect will succeed
immediately to the Chair. If there is no Chair-Elect to serve as Section
Chair (current situation) the Vice Chair will serve as Section Chair for
the ensuing fiscal year. The addition of a Vice Chair position gives the
section more organizational flexibility. |
