The Certified Quality Engineer Training Course offered in San Diego County is part of the section tradition of offering comprehensive full twenty weeks of training in preparation for an ASQ Certified Examination. The purpose of the course, as with the successful history of providing 17-week Certified Quality Engineering Courses and Certified Reliability Courses, is to familiarize the applicant in the basic subject areas of the Certified Quality Engineer examination to be given on Saturday, 7 December 2002. This course is unique in that it is being provided by only instructors who are Certified Quality Engineers or experts in their area.

The Refresher Course is not a prerequisite to certification, merely an aid. Meeting all requirements is the responsibility of the individual. The Course will use the team teaching approach, utilizing instructors who have expertise in their given areas of instruction.

Advance registration is required to process the facility visitor permits, if necessary.

Mail a check in the amount indicated above, payable to ASQ, to the attention of Daniel Mueller, 732 Pebble Beach Drive, San Marcos, CA 92069. Note that class sizes are limited and that enrollment will be granted based on the order in which tuition payments are received.

The CQE Primer is $65 and can be ordered on-line through Quality Council of Indiana (800-660-4215). Allow 6 days for delivery. ISO 9000:2000 and ISO 10011 can be ordered through ASQ Press (800-248-1946). You are advised to order book enough time in advance so that you will have them the first day of class.
