Abe Wong is the Programs Chair for the American Society for Quality San Diego Chapter, and the Vice Chair for the San Diego Hong Kong Business Association. He also chairs the Asia Pacific Task Force and on the Board of Director with the International Trade Advisory Board.
He has written articles and conducted seminars on Product Safety & Liability, Manufacturing Quality & Reliability, International Product Regulations, and topics on China’s Customs and Taxation systems. He is an expert with the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) regulations and their exemption laws.

Mr. Wong has been providing consulting services to multinational companies to improve their efficiency and quality in operations for over twenty-five years. Mr. Wong is an engineer has a Master’s degree in Telecommunications and a law scholar. He received various certifications, including RAB Certified ISO Lead Auditor, Certified Chinese Interpreter, and Certified Six-Sigma Black Belt. Mr. Wong is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.

Mr. Wong has served in the U.S. Department of Defense with the Navy and the Army, working with defense contractors, biomedical companies, and other manufacturers in establishing and facilitating their international operations. Among some of the many companies that Mr. Wong assisted are: California Manufacturing Technology Consulting, Solar Turbines, Intel, IBM, HP/Compaq, Hitachi, Samsung, Fujitsu, Sony, NEC, Respironics, Quinton Cardiology, Life Force International, Becton Dickinson, Xerox, and Boeing, etc.

Mr. Wong instructs on occasion for the EMBA program on topics such as Trading with China at the California State University San Marcos. He also consults to the China State FDA and is a designated U.S. representative for China Customs and the Canton Fair organization.
