    14. The primary text will be the CQA Primer from the Quality Council of Indiana. Students will have to order the book directly through them (812-533-4215). The additional solutions text is recommended but not required.  Also recommend is "The Memory Jogger" it is available through ASQ 800-248-1946.  There is an additional fee to sign up for the test, this information will be presented at the first session.

    15. Note:  This course will teach to the new BOK as follows:

      Entirely new content under BOK IV: 

      • Cost of quality categories (5G)

      • Change control (4B1)

      • Risk management (4B2)

      • Interrelationships between business processes (4B3)

      • Common elements of various types of audits, e.g., quality, safety, environmental, financial (4B5)

      • Emerging roles of the auditor (4B7)

      • Team membership, leadership and facilitation techniques (3F)

      • Process verification and validation (3H)
