Road
"Home of World Famous Prime Rib"; 2 rooms seat ~30 & 60.
Their phone: 858-565-2272
Directions: Next door to Fillippi's where we sometimes meet.
Just off the corner of Clairmont Mesa Blvd and I163 on
Kearny Villa Road. Going North on 163 exit Clairmont Mesa Blvd. go
right (East) then make a quick right again (South) onto Kearny Villa
Road. The Butcher Shop is about 1 block South on Kearny Villa Road on the
left (East) side next to the old General Dynamics site. As its name
implies, The Butcher Shop specializes in beef: prime rib, top sirloin and just
about any other cut that strikes your fancy. Picture a darkened dining room with
paneled walls and red fabric booths, and you'll probably guess this restaurant
is a holdover from the days of three-martini lunches in a smoke-filled room.
Although the interior design hasn't changed much, the ambiance is a lot more
refined. The restaurant also caters to lighter eaters by offering chicken
and fish dishes, but then spoils all your good intentions by serving them with
irresistible, giant twice-baked potatoes and piping hot garlic bread. Dinner is
served nightly, and lunch is served Monday through Saturday. On Sundays The
Butcher Shop opens in the early afternoon for a late lunch or early dinner.

I play mixers, networking
hours, post-conference cocktail hours/ cocktail parties, birthdays,
anniversaries, graduation parties, company events, wine tastings, engagement
parties, bridal showers, weddings, classy bachelorette parties, art showings,
architectural showings, baptisms, Spanish theme parties, nearly any gathering
that is complemented by live music. I can also team up with a caterer or
personal chef to create a *really* nice experience with Spanish food, drinks
and music.
See http://www.agarciaguitar.com .
I have an excellent list of references on the events page, and you can contact
any of them. I have chosen from the cream of the crop of modern flamenco
guitar music. Combined with the high-end equipment I have purchased, it makes
for a striking ambience.
I do work with flamenco dancers and I have San Diego's most knowledgeable and
experienced flamenco singer as part of my group if that is something you
decide you would like to have for any events. I can also pair up with a duo
partner for more lively music if that is something you might like for any
event.
