This Month's Meeting

Our March meeting went well (see details here).  Our April meeting will be as follows:

April 11, 2006

"BioMed Quality"

Dr. Dale Sevier, SDSU

http://www.csuchico.edu/csuperb/Sevier.html

Abstract

SDSU's grant supported distance education efforts to promote quality in the medical industry is the main topic of this presentation.  Now in its second year, we've learned a lot about what works and what doesn't regarding on-line courses, topics that should be covered for the biomedical industry.

Courses include a Masters degree and certification programs.  One advantage is that the medical community from around the world can take courses from well known experts in the field.
