Abstract
This presentation will provide an introduction to methods used and
recommendations for managing quality in the Asia region. It will deal
with Subsidiary relationships, Contract Equipment Manufacturer
relationships, and Contract Manufacturer relationships in support of
offshore manufacturing challenges.
The presentation is non-technical. The materials presented will be
particularly useful to Quality Manager/Executives involved in setting up
manufacturing/quality systems and doing business in offshore locations.
Speaker Biography
Jim Fish, is currently Managing Director of JRF
Associates, a San Diego based consulting firm addressing Quality Management,
Operations Management, and Manufacturing issues and challenges
worldwide.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in Electrical
Engineering with over four decades of experience managing Quality,
Operations, and Manufacturing in North America, Europe, and Asia for several
major US companies. He has also developed and supported customer,
training, engineering, certification, safety, and standards systems
worldwide.
