

MESSAGE FROM THE EDUCATION CHAIR Section Members & Honored Eavesdroppers,
Are you certified? If not – why not? As we approach the year-end we begin to evaluate our progress toward our goals – both business and personal – that we set for ourselves earlier in the year. This reflection presents an ideal opportunity to examine our learning and the skills needed for our career growth with the planning of next years learning and certification prospects. ASQ offers 13 certifications for the quality professional. In today's world, where quality competition is a fact of life and the need for a work force proficient in the principles and practices of quality and process improvement is a central concern of many companies, certification is a mark of excellence. It demonstrates that the certified individual has the knowledge to assure quality of products and services. ASQ San Diego offers several courses on our education refresher course page to assist those interested in preparing for the ASQ Certification examination. Again, are you certified? If not – why not? Current Educational Status We are combining our efforts to support a CQE course with the North County Palomar chapter of ASQ. Sign up now for that course to start soon. The CQT course just finished. The CSQE refresher course is about to finish.
