new beginning"

As you already know, our new
year began last month and it's off to what appears to be a great start.
We've got more educational programs than ever, we're making an attempt to
re-start pre-meeting clinics, we're supporting ASQ's service quality
conference here next month, and all other areas of how our section
normally functions are in strong positions.
With this said, we've still got
room for more help. You can participate in the fun either as:

an appointed officer,

a member making suggestions for
improvement,

a member submitting articles to
publish,
-
as a speaker or pre-clinic
speaker,
-
as a student joining one of our
refresher courses,

as a patron of one of our
sponsor products or services,

as an instructor of a refresher

(i.e. web review committee),

This Month's Meeting
Abstract
Whether or not there is a requirement for Customer Satisfaction Assessment
within your organization, it makes good business sense to know what your
Customers think. While surveys are the most common format for assessing
Customer Satisfaction, there are many other ways by which to effectively do
so.
Diane Kulisek will provide an overview of Customer Satisfaction Assessment
methods, share links to popular on-line Customer Satisfaction tools,
summarize Customer Satisfaction requirements pertaining to some of the most
common Quality Management System guidelines/regulations, review examples of
Customer Satisfaction metrics and give some experienced insights about how
individuals and organizations can turn Customer Satisfaction outcomes into
valuable improvement actions.
Speaker Biography
Diane
Kulisek has over 30 years of experience in the Quality profession and
is President of CAPAtrak, LLC, a contract provider of quality leadership,
services and solutions. She has held key management positions within the
consumer products, aerospace and biomedical industries, most recently as Vice
President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs for Spectrum Laboratories. Her
exemplary career has included a Quality Engineering Management position within
the Gillette Company and a role as Associate Product Manager for NASA's Space
Shuttle Main Engines while at Rocketdyne.
Diane
is a Deputy Regional Director within the American Society for Quality's
Southwestern Region and is the Quality Advocacy Chair for the San Fernando
Valley Section of ASQ. Diane also holds the office of Vice Chair for the Food,
Drug and Cosmetic Division of ASQ. She is recognized by ASQ as a Certified
Quality Manager and Certified Quality Engineer.
