PROCESS CAPABILITY INDICES - If you are not including the confidence level and sample size when calculating the process capability indices, then you may be fooling yourself with the meaningless results you are getting from your C_pk and C_p calculations.

The three and a half hour, SPC Tools Workshop is being offered in San Diego County on Thursday, 12 March 2009 , from 8:30 to 12 noon . This is a hand’s on session to teach the attendees the proper method of constructing variable data Control Charts and calculate the correct C_pk and C_p values for variable data.

CONTROL CHARTS - If you are not calculating the statistical identification of the shape of your data sets when developing variable data control charts, you may continually perform data analysis, initiate corrective action, and take preventative action unnecessarily.

NOTE: Bring your fully charged PC Laptop with MS Excel for the hands on class work, and student will receive a free data CD.

ATTRIBUTE SAMPLING PLANS

ANSI Z1.4  ATTRIBUTE SAMPLING PLANS  -  If you are not aware of the significant change to the attribute sampling plans made in 2003, or if you are not a proficient attribute sampling plans user, this hands on workshop is just what you need.

C EQUALS ZERO SAMPLING PLAN - This attribute sampling plan will let you accept lots using less inspection time due to the smaller sample sizes required. If you are not using this sampling plan, then this hand’s on workshop is just what you need.

This three and a half hour, Attribute Sampling Plans Workshop is being offered in San Diego County on Thursday, 26 February 2009 , from 8:30 to 12 noon . This is a hands on session to teach the attendees the proper method of using Tables I, II, III, IV, and VIII of Z1.4 and the C Equals Zero Sampling Plan.
